AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$30.22 billion for September 2016(1), up by 4.4% month-over-month and down by 3.8% year-over-year. Consolidated revenues in the third quarter of 2016 were NT$86.02 billion, up by 7.4% from the previous quarter and down by 3.7% year-over-year.

Shipments of large-sized panels(2) for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications were around 9.87 million units in September 2016, down by 4.9% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments were over 13.01 million units, up by 7.3% month-over-month.

In the third quarter of 2016, large-sized panel shipments totaled 29.27 million units, representing an increase of 2.8% quarter-over-quarter and 11.1% year-over-year. Shipments of small-and-medium-sized panels in the same quarter exceeded 37.97 million units, down by 10.6% quarter-over-quarter and 22.0% year-over-year.
