  • PCR implementation to product recyclability

    In terms of product design, we have successfully incorporated post-consumer recycled(PCR) plastic from household consumption, increased the material recycling rate, and enhanced product circularity. This has expanded the application scope of waste plastic, and achieved compliance with global recycling standards such as the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) and UL Recycled Content Verification.

    In 2020, AUO created the world's first display that passed the UL 3600 verification for circularity, and in 2021, we introduced recycled plastics to launch the first eco-friendly concept laptop.
