AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$29.07 billion for September 2017(1), down by 3.6% month-over-month and 3.8% year-over-year. Consolidated revenues in the third quarter of 2017 were NT$87.40 billion, up by 3.5% quarter-over-quarter and 1.6% year-over-year.

Shipments of large-sized panels(2) for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications were around 10.23 million units in September 2017, up by 2.0% from the previous month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments exceeded 16.34 million units, up by 7.7% month-over-month.

In the third quarter of 2017, large-sized panel shipments totaled 29.09 million units, up by 8.3% quarter-over-quarter and roughly flat year-over-year. Shipments of small-and-medium-sized panels in the same quarter were around 46.81 million units, up by 21.1% quarter-over-quarter and 23.3% year-over-year.
