AUO Corporation ("AUO" or the "Company") (TAIEX: 2409; NYSE: AUO) today announced its unaudited consolidated revenue of NT$25.84 billion for December 2017⁽¹⁾, down by 5.6% month-over-month and 17.1% year-over-year. In the fourth quarter of 2017, unaudited consolidated revenues were NT$80.66 billion, down by 7.7% quarter-over-quarter and 12.2% year-over-year.

For the year ended December 31, 2017, unaudited consolidated revenues totaled NT$341.03 billion, up by 3.6% year-over-year.

Shipments of large-sized panels⁽²⁾ for LCD TV, desktop monitor, notebook PC, and other applications exceeded 9.42 million units in December 2017, down by 6.0% month-over-month. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments were around 16.25 million units, up by 6.2% month-over-month.

In the fourth quarter of 2017, large-sized panel shipments reached around 28.65 million units, down by 1.5% quarter-over-quarter and up by 1.2% year-over-year. Shipments of small-and-medium-sized panels in the same quarter exceeded 46.96 million units, up by 0.3% quarter-over-quarter and 31.4% year-over-year.

For the full year of 2017, large-sized panel shipments exceeded 111.80 million units, an increase of 1.2% from the previous year. Small and medium-sized panel shipments totaled 168.85 million units, up by 9.7% year-over-year.
